CBT gives us a set of tools to learn how to gain more control over our emotions so that stress, anxiety and depression no longer control us. Through reality checking and course correcting our thought processes, we can shift our perspective in an instant, and experience the power and freedom that comes from having the ability to slow down and respond to a challenge instead of react with fear, anger or other negative emotions.
